2009 Palomino Metallic w/Rosewood bound neck
Fender's Eric Johnson Artist Series model Stratocaster is largely considered the best production line Strat made. The EJ Strat is loaded with innovative features, but looks totally standard.
In 2009 Fender introduced the Eric Johnson Rosewood "RW" model. The only differences between the maple and RW models- besides the fretboard- are the finish options and the pickguard ply. Contrary to rumor these models (current 2009 models) DO NOT have different pickup configurations. (see bottom for complete specs on both '09 models)
